Corey J Wade teaches AP Statistics, AP Calculus, and Programming at Berkeley Independent Study. In 2017, Wade received multiple grants to start Programming Power, a coding club supporting girls and underserved students to build websites (JavaScript/HTML/CSS) and iPhone Apps (iOS/Swift). A former lecturer at Cal State East Bay and workshop instructor at the New College of California, Wade developed One Student, One Class (previously PersonAligned Learning) to offer an innovative math and computer science curriculum for students in need of enrichment. He also taught Natural Language Processing & Artificial Intelligence in Python for Hello World at Khan Lab School in 2019, and ran a Machine Learning/AI For Youth club in 2020. He currently teaches beginning and advanced courses in Data Science and Machine Learning for Berkeley Coding Academy.
